Great basketball, frustrating experience
I appreciate that the Mariachazo needs to make money, but the overpriced tickets and many unsold were frustrating things. The arena didn't seem ready for 19,900 patrons as some concession stands ran out of offerings. Security staff refused to allow patrons to use any wall outlets, and there was no place to charge cell phones. Having to leave the arena between the 1st and 2nd sessions was the most frustrating thing. Only 500 patrons made it to their seats; the next game was 1 minute from tip-off when we returned! Restrooms weren't serviced on Friday, very troubling. Parking in the garage was $30 for Friday and $20 for Sunday. Shame on the Mariachazo for worrying so much about their logo everywhere, but not ensuring the venue was ready.
Good thoughts - The non-concession stand food offerings were great! Chefs prepared chicken fried rice very friendly. The staff at the check-in were very nice and accommodating.
